There’s time when we feel confuse and don’t even have a clue about
what we’re gonna do with our life. People has very various ways to deal with
this problem. We could easily seek our parent’s opinion, discussing with
friends, or go to a palm reader to figure out our future, haha who knows?. Some
people are brave enough to take significant actions, some people prefer to take
baby steps while probably figuring out their plan.
Take me home tonight really slapped me on the face, gently. The
movie honestly portray how teenager’s phase which always about having fun and
don’t have to worry about anything except getting good grades and being
accepted in the best school or how to get laid and being a prom queen/ prom king
will change drastically to grown up’s phase which everything about making
important scary decisions in your life (getting a dream job, getting married,
fulfilling your old folk’s expectations, decisions, decisions, decisions..).
I’m like Tori Frederking, we both hate our job. The different is,
she has a chance to be promoted by her pervert boss (thank God to woman’s
ultimate power of beauty), but unfortunately she refused it. Deep down inside,
she knew that she had potentials to success by her own, not by the help of
douchebags. I kinda envy her, working in an office consisted of buffoon
sometimes can be beneficial for you, if only you could comprehend how to. I can
relate to Matt Franklin as well. He had a problem determining his path. His
parents seems to always charging him with “when will you look for another job
(rather than Suncoast Video store)?” question, which every parent in the world
will do. They’ll continue worrying about their children and will do anything in
their power to support them.
I believe doing something regarding our next step always
frightening and stressing. However, we have the honor to give ourself a shot,
even if it’s a random shot or hell even if you don’t know where to aim. it’s
always the effort which will be appreciated. Life indeed is a series of trial
and error.
